Here are some guidelines for your final paper.
• The length of the paper should be about 5 pages of text, not including figures and references.
• Line spacing should be 1.5.
• Font size should be 11 or 12, font Times (or similar).
• Include at least 5 references, properly cited in the text. References should be published, peer-reviewed papers, NOT websites. For citation formatting, use a style similar to that of Geophysical Research Letters.
• Include at least three figures that illustrate your point.
• DO NOT PLAGIARIZE. All writing must be in your own words. (It's extremely easy to detect plagiarism, so don't even risk it.) If you aren't sure what plagiarism is, you can read a definition here. If you plagiarize, you will receive an F for the paper, and academic dishonesty proceedings will be instigated, according to University Regulation 6-802.
