Jeffrey Nealon (PhD, 2006)

jeffdunk

Jeff came to UW with a B.A. degree in geology from Bowdoin College.  At UW he worked on the seismic structure of gas hydrate deposits on the Blake Ridge.  Jeff is currently a geophysicist at Chevron in Houston, TX.  Here he is deploying an XBT from the starboard gun boom of the R/V Ewing in 2003 in the Norwegian Sea.  Minutes after this photo was taken the gun boom dipped into the ocean and Jeff came up a bit wet.  (Not to worry; he was clipped in.)
