I've been working on methane hydrates since "before it was cool" -- my first research cruise on hydrates took place in 1992. Our current efforts focus on the relationships between submarine landslides and the methane hydrate reservoir.

In 2003 we conducted a seismic study of the Storegga submarine landslide, offshore Norway.
Blake Ridge 3D
In 2000 our group led a 3D seismic survey of the Blake Ridge hydrate province. This 3D image, published in a paper by Matt Hornbach et al., shows the 3D distribution of gas and hydrate on the ridge.
